Purpose

To promote, support, develop and encourage research in musculoskeletal disorders, diseases and injuries and in their management. To provide a forum for the sharing and dissemination of knowledge in these fields.

ANZORS meetings are CME Accredited at Category 1 for 14 hours/points per meeting by The Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA)

Goals

ANZORS represents a stream of basic scientists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists and industry scientists who have passion, dynamics and motivation to pursue orthopaedic research. The orthopaedic research community in Australia and New Zealand is rapidly expanding. Several areas, including molecular biology research, therapeutic lineage specific cell therapy, orthopaedic bioengineering and prothesis design and assessment are becoming the focus of research by our members. Thus, communication between groups for encouragement of interdisciplinary collaboration should be the foremost goal for ANZORS
